I would like to trade ES futures via CME on Sierra. Im trying to work out what is essential for getting everything ready to trade in terms of exchange feed and data activation etc. I currently have: 1. Sierra 'service package 12' 2. I have also activated 'Denali - Activated Exchange: CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts'. 3. I have also set up order routing via Teton. 4. My broker is Edgeclear 5. I have paid for 'Exchange Data Feed: 250 Real-Time Symbols (1st Connection)' I noticed my ES data footprint, DOM and TPO was different from an experienced trader hosting a live stream today (I was comparing to Bish who runs seminars via Sierra: Im sure he has it set up correctly). Have I ticked all of the correct boxes? Am I missing anything? Is the exchange data feed a duplication of the Denali feed? Apologies if some of this sounds basic, Im trying to learn as fast as I can. Surely this has to be quite straight forward to set up as ES futures are so popular. Thank you, Liam > |

Everything looks good on your account and you are setup to get the CME exchange data in real-time. There are a lot of things that can cause the Footprint, DOM and TPO to look different, as there are a lot of different settings for each of these items. Just make sure you are getting the data in real-time for the ES, and then take it one step at a time to get things setup as you want them to be. With regards to the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, this is a separate data feed from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. We see that you have the S&P Indices activated within it. If you are wanting the S&P Indices, then this is fine. But if you activated this thinking that you need it for the ES, then you do not and you can deactivate the exchange and the data feed. Just deactivate each item on this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi John, Thank you for getting back to me so quickly and explaining. I thought I might have actived the S&P indicies by mistake. Very much appreciate your clarification on that. I managed to resolve the data display issue with the DOM, TPO and FP: it was caused by global time settings being slightly off which skewed how the data was organised. All the best, Liam |
