I have spent the last four hours trying to change the background colors for a dom I want to setup. I have been through EVERY single option and yet can't get it to work. I am attaching a file to show what seems to be the correct choice but the background does not change. I am also trying to get the DOM not to split the background colors above and below the bid/ask and I click enable/disable both for background and still it is split. I also don't see where the option is to change the background for the price. I know this is allot of questions but I have really tried and have so far wasted my whole day. I was trying to send a screen shot but you won't accept a simple screen shot and I have NO idea what you want. Not everybody is tech savy that uses your program. I am using global settings, choosing background color for the buy and sell columns and NOTHING changes |

I finally found a previous help that said that you must click on "enable" on SOME of the changes before they will take effect. I am furious as I have reviewed the different options and your help for another user is right. You only require to check the enable box on "SOME" of the choices and the ones that automatically work are greyed out and therefore automatically do what is to be expected. This is inconsistent and if you don't need to check enable most of the time but sometimes you do need to check the box when the box should not even be there on any of the choices because if I want a blue box I want a blue box. What the hell is the enable box even for besides wasting hours and hours searching for an answer. This is CLEAR LAZINESS ON THE PART OF SIERRA CHART or I would go as far as to say that it is severe ineptness on your part. Your program is difficult enough without the added difficulty when you fail to be consistant |

The other thing that is very confusing and adds allot of time is that you are not consistent in labeling choices for the DOM. Sometimes you label them "text" and other times you label them "quantities". This is huge as it is so difficult to find the right choice for the font that needs to be changed. If they were all labeled "test" then you could go through the long long list and look for just test instead of having to look through each line. Really, I would think that you would have someone that is not one of your programmers to actually try and use your software and they surely could give you feedback as to how to make it user friendly or minimally a little more consistent. EVERY single new thing I try to setup takes me a huge amount of time because of similar types of these issues. It's just not fair what you are doing by making your customers spend our time to figure out your inconsistencies and many times you just send a link to how to set things up which of course most of us have already gone through many times before contacting you. So frustrating........................ |

Did you figure out how to change the background or do you still need help with this?
