Energy line is calculated similar to kinetic energy in physics: E = (mv^2)/2. Tick volumes (money stock) are used as mass, while price rate of change (ROC) is used as velocity.

Energy direction (positive or negative) is defined by ROC direction.

There has to be more to it, I can look at that formula and tell you it will not produce a meaningful plot, there will be ridiculous spikes that will mess up the scale of everything else.

i think using ROC to measure Velocity is wrong

needs something to calculate speed from a given point , swing H/L to actual price
i made something similar using zigzag to calculate time difference in seconds .
i have to think more about it .
