Hello,

The trade activity log sometimes exports prices multiplied by 100 and sometimes it doesn't making it impossible for our users to use it with our trading journal. The same thing is happening with symbols that get all kinds of variations exported like (sim)gcj2 or f.us.gcj2 or gcm12-nymex. How can I get a trading log with the exact fill price and exactly symbol traded? The logs are a complete mess as it is.

Thanks.

There definitely is no mess. The symbols are going to be based upon the symbols used for the particular Data or Trading service being used. That cannot change under any circumstances.

And if you are doing an export, you will get the exchange native pricing for the orders. If you want a consistent price format, use the File >> Save Log As command instead:
Trade Activity Log: Saving to a Text File

I am an integrator and I don't have Sierra Charts installed, but I'll see If I can get one of our users to try. I still think anything other than the original ticker should be placed under different columns. Symbols at SC are sometimes exported with [Sim]ESM2 or (Sim1)ESM2 to name a few. The symbols must be universally compatible and any unnecessary info like (sim) should be stripped out. We've integrated over 150 brokers and Sierra Charts is probably one of 2-3 that does this. We use over 10 preg_match rules here to clean up these symbols and the rules seem to be getting bigger. Also, the executed price should not be changed under any circumstances in either format. They don't reflect the price paid so why change them.
