Reducing number of bars showing on an Intraday chart

I have opened an Intraday chart. I use both SC Denali data and IB (for ASX stocks). If I press the 1min, 5min, 10min or 15min bar periods the chart is full of bars. If I press 30min bar period only the left hand half of the chart has bars. 60min results in only the left quarter of the chart with bars. Pressing 1Day results in only one or two bars visible on the chart. How to I change the behavior so that no matter which bar period I press the chart is fully populated? Note I download 30 days of data.

Make sure the Number of Days to load is set to the value you want for the chart.
