Unable to show both evening and day session in Volume Profile

If I turn on 'Evening Session' in Chart Settings, I only see the evening session in Volume Profile, no day session. If I change the 'Use Separate Profile for Evening Session' setting in Volume Profile, it has no effect. If I disable 'Evening Session' in Chart Settings, I can see the daytime session normally. I am using the SC delayed data feed.

What are your Session Times set to? Please list all 4 of the entries.

They are set to the default,

Day:

The reason for why you are seeing these oddities is because you have your chart bars set to 1 day. As such, there is only 1 bar per day, and the VbP is going to be calculated based on that information.

For example, the reason you do not get the day session displayed when you select the Input for Use Separate Profile for Evening Session, is because the day starts with the Evening Session and since there is only 1 bar, the rest of the information is not displayed.

In the end, the solution is to change your bar period to something that fits into each day/evening session, such as 1 hour. Just make sure that you keep the option for New Bar at Session Start set to Yes to ensure you get the separation between day and evening sessions as you have them defined in your Session Times.

Thank you. It is working now. I had changed the bar time before but I had set it to too large a number for it to fit into the day session.
