What settings do I need to adjust to place orders that are held server side and will remain in place even with my computer off? Not just bracket orders, simple buy or sell orders below or above current market as well. Looking for orders that do not expire unless i remove them. Thank you for your help! |

It is not as much about settings as it is about the trading service that you use. Our servers are showing that you are connected to CQG. Therefore, refer to the information in the following section regarding OCO and Bracket orders: CQG Trading Platform Service: What is Included Also refer to the information here: Attached Orders: Introduction In terms of settings, there are two important ones, refer to these starting here: Global Trade Settings Windows: Use Server Side OCO Orders (if supported) (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General) But also look through the rest of the settings in that section as they can affect how your trades are handled. John, Thank you for the links. It seems like switching to Teton is inevitable. But will switching to Teton allow for stand alone orders to remain indefinitely for individual orders above or below current markets? Or will they also be cancelled out by the end of business day like CQG? |
