Hello, I am coming from using Tradingview for the past 3 years and Sierra is vastly more in depth so forgive my ignorance. But, after using it for a week I am struggling with a few things. First, in Tradingview, I pay for NASDAQ stocks data feed for QQQ and NYSE ARCA for SPY and it has always worked fairly well. For both of these I get real-time data which seems pretty close to what I am seeing in Sierra in terms of the Intraday timeframes. Not so much with the daily. The first question I have is with the symbols. If I type in SPY and QQQ in the symbol search, for a daily chart I only get historical data...nothing updates during the day. If i choose SPY-NQTV and QQQ-NQTV these symbols do in fact update, but then I do not get OHLC values for each candle at the end of the daily close at 4:00pm. The candles keep updating after which makes analysis on the regular trading day difficult. So if i want to do regular trading hours analysis on SPY for daily chart candles, I cannot seem to make that work in Sierra without having a historical chart (SPY symbol) right next to a real-time daily chart (SPY-NQTV symbol) and the information I am getting from looking at both is very confusing. I am also seeing REALLY different candles for OHLC values on the historical chart than I am in Tradingview and I am not sure which data to trust without going and doing some long winded 3rd party comparison. Which I haven't done yet. So am I using the right symbols for wanting real-time data for these two ETF's? Also, why am I unable to choose "use evening hours" in the menu when looking at the candles for any of the daily chart symbols I have used thus far? I am just really confused on this. I like to draw levels on OHLC values for normal market hours but can't seem to get this to work without having to have 2 daily charts for each symbol. I realize I probably didn't explain that well but its the best I could do. Hope you can help me out. Thanks

First, in terms of the symbols, you need to use the symbols with the -NQTV suffix. Otherwise, you are getting data from our older data feed. These are two different data feeds, and you are signed up for the newer NASDAQ TotalView, so you need to use the -NQTV for each symbol. Second, if you are just wanting to see data from the Regular Trading Hours and not from the Evening Session, then you need to adjust your Session Times. Refer to the following: Chart Session Times Third, you can not change the session times for historical data. That data comes from the exchanges as the full information for the day.
