hello, ive spent some weeks trying to figure out why SC's moving averages populate pretty far off than the numbers TOS, Tradingview, Webull and a few other charting platforms show. are there any ideas on why this is or how to fix it? i'm attaching a file with the left being thinkorswim and the right SC with the same exact moving averages and colors. thanks! https://www.sierrachart.com/Download.php?Folder=TicketingSystem&download=63427 |

This is generally not within the scope of our support. And your question has no specific details, to the point we cannot even help with it. Basically what we can say is add the Moving Average study you want to the chart. And then locate the page for that particular moving average from this page: Technical Studies Reference Look at the formula, and do the calculations manually and see if you notice any problems. In order to make it easy to do the calculation manually, set the Length of the moving average to something small like 10. You can determine the bar values by using the Chart Values tool: Chart Drawing Tools: Chart Values/Crosshair Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
