Hello John

Thank you for your message. Did it help no of course not. Sierra Chart is considered great by many users. You can only understand this if you have somehow managed to adjust the programme for yourself. As far as the handling is concerned you are stuck at 1994, if we had 1996 today I would say, give them a few more months and then the programme is up to date. But it's 2021!
I find it inconceivable that after you have laboriously set up the DOM, for example, and then reopen it, you are allowed to start again. Because you haven't unticked the box under graphic settings. Of course, this is exactly what every user wants, to be able to start all over again. A small hint when closing the DOM that you lose all your settings again without unchecking the box would not be bad.
For some reason this doesn't help on my computer/VPS because the tick is there again after reopening. So all I can do is keep the DOM open and duplicate it.
I'm sure you have a steady customer base that has become accustomed to your programme and just accepts it the way it is.
That will change abruptly when someone comes on the market who does it better. There used to be a market leader for mobile phones called Nokia.....
I will still try to get along with Sierra somehow. But I think it's a shame that they treat their customers like this.

You definitely can tell how Sierra Charts feels about their customers. Basically, "leave if you don't like it." Guaranteed, once another company with the same charting capabilities comes out, everyone will leave SC. There won't be any saving them after that.
