Hi guys, Im having issues with historical data - im pretty much flying in the wind now with no reference points further back than around 2 months. Current data provider is CQG and I also have denali on my eval package What do I do to combine the two if this is possible to get chart references back further than the pic attached?? |

From the image, it looks like the first thing you need to do is to make the chart a Continuous Futures Contract chart. Refer to the information here: Continuous Futures Contract Charts The second thing you would need to do is to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed. CQG data does not give previous contract information. The only way to get this is to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed. Refer to the information at the following link, which also includes Setup Instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

We see you are on a Service Package which includes the Denali Exchange Data Feed, but you also need to activate the exchanges that you require from here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed Otherwise, it makes no difference. The data is still coming from CQG. Which does not provide the necessary data for Continuous Contracts. Let us know if you need help with the exchange activation. No you definitely do *not* have to pay exchange fees twice. Not at all. Cancel the exchange fees that you pay through CQG. Contact your broker about that. And then you can continue with the Denali Exchange Data Feed next month.
