I am trading stocks through Interactive Brokers. I try to add to my existing position using "support scale in" and "support scale out". And it do not work. I simply get a new execution with separate OCO brackets and it do not add to existing OCO brackets that were placed with earlier order. I am pretty sure my settings are correct as I followed instructions and it does work in Simulation Mode.

Does it not work with stocks or Interactive Brokers? Not sure where is the problem. Please advise.

Thank you.

Let us analyze this one step at a time.

Let us analyze only scale in. And only scale in.

When you submit an order, which should be considered a scale in order and should not have any Attached Orders itself, at that time go through the documentation here:
Attached Orders: Scaling In

And then tell us what are the conditions which do not exist, that are required for scaling in.

After repeating the process it works for scale-ins.
Scale outs are creating orders with brackets.

We are having trouble with Trader Workstation installing and updating it. So we have to analyze this problem through your Trade Activity Log. For the Target and Stop orders and the Scale Out order we need the information requested here:

Ok it must be the recent change with Scaling Out we implemented.

Should not have mattered though.
