Can we lower the number of Days to Load for Historical Chart Data Type?

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out a workaround with the issue with Rithmic not letting too many historical days download. So far I have the charts set to 90 days, turn off continuous contracts, turned off allow real-time updating of historical data, lowered the market depth days to load, and lowered the Maximum historical intraday days to load to 90.

Is there a way to lower the "Days to Load for Historical Chart Data Type"? It is set to read-only in the chart settings. (See Pics). I tried reading through the information here https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartSettings.html#DisableDataFileUpdating, but I was not able to find if this could be lowered.

Also, if I understand correctly, the days to load will exceed the number of days set as time progresses. Is that going to load it from the data already downloaded on my computer, or is it going to try to pull that from the servers?

Thanks,

It is only read-only when the chart type is not Historical (see image historical_data.png).

Did you set the values in the Data/Trade Service Settings (see image data.png)

Yes, I lowered this one to 90 days only. So, I guess this one is good to go.

It is only read-only when the chart type is not Historical (see image historical_data.png).
I understand. So, if the chart is set to intraday, then it shouldnt affect the number of downloaded historical days? or does it still affect it?
I guess I should make sure the chart is set to intraday, and if set to historical then lower the number of days?

Thanks!

No worries.
For me personally, the only acceptable solution with Rithmic was using Denali data, but I guess this does not suit everyone.

I would use Denali data with it as well. But, I have a few people asking for help around the topic above, mostly because they are using the Funded Prop-firms accounts, so they start with a paper trading account and have to use Rithmic data, unfortunately.

Im testing it today, and with the changes I made, it seems to be working with no issues.

Thanks for the info.
