For example, I have a hotkey set to shift-m. If I want to change my symbol by typing it in, I can't use shift-m. It simply doesn't work.

This is holding true for all hotkeys currently setup.

I do not remember this occuring previously, but I also couldn't tell you exactly when this change happened.

Thanks

I have double checked this behavior with another Sierra user. He has the same issue.

Plus 1 for this. I noticed that I have my trade quality set to numbers 1 - 5. When I’m in the updated menu system I can’t use those hot keys for regular number entry. So I usually just copy them from the text pad if I need to make a change.

We have fixed an issue where if you were trying to type into one of the new Settings Windows and you happened to use a command that was setup as a Keyboard Shortcut, then the keyboard shortcut was occurring, not the typing. Although we were only able to reproduce the initial problem with a Detached window.

First, update to the latest Pre-Release and see if you continue to have an issue. If you do, then please give us the specific steps you are taking to reproduce the problem.
