I've tried to find the MAX and MIN for each hour, starting from the top of the hour across 4 different time frames, using spreadsheet functions. Any help would be appreciated

Off the top, you'll need to overlay everything onto one chart, then do the calculations... Or find the max/min on each chart, then overlay those results onto one chart and find the composite max/min. Note: Overlays from other timeframes will occasionally lead/lag the source chart. See this thread for more info: MACD Study/Price overlay inaccurate for signal conditions on lower time frame chart Particularly posts #5 and #7. |

Hi Tom, this is what I've done so far. I've overlaid the 60, 30 and 15 min onto the 5 min chart then used M N O P columns for the 60,30,15,5 MAX(M3:P3) and the reverse for MIN!.... am I missing something else

Except for the caveat I mentioned, you'd think that would work, but I need more details. You may Direct Message me. |
