Version 2374 I have moved on from TransAct. There is still a "Transact" folder in the installed files. Can I delete it without any damage to the program? |

Sierra Chart is setup to be installed anywhere on a computer. As such, when we had a closer relationship with TransAct and we were allowing our software to be installed through their process, they installed their software to a location with the following path /SierraChart/SierraChartTransActMA Therefore, if that is the folder you are referencing, then you would want to leave it there, as that is the actual folder from which your Sierra Chart is running. If it is a different folder, then we would need to know the name and location to help understand what might be in there. Based upon what we see in your case you can safely remove this subfolder: /SierraChart/SierraChartTransActMA Although just put it in the recycle bin. So if you need it again you can get to it. You can delete that folder. Everyone can delete that folder. And everyone can delete the folder named Rim or Rithmic. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
