Please advise what I can do to allow for attached orders to adjust after manually scaling out. For eg. 1. Order filled with 3 lots with a single target & stop. 2. I decide to scale out while in the middle of a trade with 1 lot. 3. However, the attached stop & target orders are still set at 3 lots -> how do I allow this to automatically adjust down to 2 lots after having manually scaled out? |

To clarify, the above scenario occurs when I scale out using the 'Send attached order' method. If I were to scale out with a naked limit order, I see that the attached orders automatically adjust. However, I prefer not to do it this way because if the stop is filled, the naked order does not cancel automatically. |

To do what you want you would enable the option for Scale Out and then just send the 1 lot reduction trade as a normal trade and your attached orders will adjust appropriately. Yes, but if the order is stopped out before the scale out is reached, the separate scale out order does not automatically cancel. Is there a way to address this?

Sorry, we are not understanding the exact scenario you are performing. We thought you were doing the following (Buy and Sell do not matter, we are just using them to ensure the example is understood): - Buy 3 with attached Sell Stop and Sell Limit also of quantity 3. - Sell 1 and and adjust Sell Stop and Sell Limit to quantity of 2 (to do this use Scale Out). But it sounds like you are putting in a Limit order instead of a direct sell. But we are not sure. Please explain the full scenario so we can understand. Sell 1 and and adjust Sell Stop and Sell Limit to quantity of 2 (to do this use Scale Out).
I'm referring to the scenario where I have a resting order to Sell 1 -> BUT, rather than hitting the resting order, the direction reverses and I get stopped out. In which case, the resting order to Sell 1 is not cancelled along with the original order, and is then left as a naked sell limit.

The best way to do this would be to cancel the existing Target and Stop and then submit the new set of Attached Orders with two targets (1 for 1 lot and the other for the 2 lots) then you could have a single stop.
