Hello, I don't know the rollover dates, but I know there is too little volume in the H contract, and much more in the J, but does not roll over. but also seems to be some sort of problem with the J contract. If I'm not mistaken. Thank you |

The default setting for the rollover of BTC is the Last Thursday of the Contract Month. If you have the option for Global Settings >> General Settings >> Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume, then it will do the rollover based on the volume. Refer to the following: General Settings Window: Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Symbol) Also note that you can change the rollover date by entering additional days for Global Settings >> General Settings >> Additional Days to Add to Rollover Date for Automatic Chart and Quote Board Rollovers. Refer to the information here: General Settings Window: Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Symbol) That all said, it will not rollover automatically unless you have the option to do so set in Chart Settings >> Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu) If you want to manually rollover you can select Chart >> Perform Futures Symbol Rollover and select the contract you want. Refer to the following: Chart Menu: Perform Futures Symbol Rollover (Chart menu) We do not see anything particularly odd about the J contract for BTC. It just appears that this is not traded a lot. Thank you. Yes, I have the "Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol" chart setting enabled. I'll check again. BTW, reading your answer from the tablet, I clicked, by mistake, the "set" button. I can't find and 'unset' button so this post became an 'user discussion'. by mistake. Sorry about that. |
