6E Contracts rounding to the highest decimal point when entering a Buy or Sell limit order

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with contracts that have 5 decimal places for price. For example, if I enter a Buy Limit on 6E at 1.10155 it will automatically move it up to 1.10160. This happens only when I am using my live account. If I use the Simulated Trading Mode it lets me place it on the 0.00005 decimal.
Would you know how to resolve this issue?

If your Tick Size is set to "0.00005" (which is the correct Tick Size for this instrument) then you would need to check with your broker as to why this is being changed. It is not being changed by Sierra Chart.

What is the Tick Size of the chart set to? And also the Price Display Format.

Refer to:
Chart Settings: Tick Size (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu)

Also a broker would not be able to answer a question like this. Most likely the rounding is occurring on the Sierra Chart side.

The Tick Size is set to 0.00005 and the Price Display Format is set to 0.00001

Locate the initial order in the Trade Activity Log and see if the price is correct there when the order is sent:

On the Trade Activity Log, the Order Sent price is correct. But then the Open Order price is wrong.

Therefore, it is Rithmic who is changing the price. We will contact them about this.

Also if you are doing a live trading, you really should be using our Teton order routing. There is no reason to be using Rithmic.You are going to have a higher quality of service, for free. Refer to:
