This is not something we can help with, as we do not have any experience with installing on Parallels on a MAC. We have set this as as a User Discussion, as there are others out there that can be helpful to you. Hi DB, SC actually recommends using Crossover not Parallels: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SoftwareDownload.php#UsingSierraChartOnMacOS Link: https://www.codeweavers.com/crossover Using Crossover is much simpler than using Parallels if you simply want to run Windows programs on a Mac. Having said that, I use Parallels because I'm a programmer and I actually need the flexibility it allows. If you decided you truly need Parallels, I'll try to send instructions to install SC. They key thing to understand is with Parallels you first have to install an entire Windows OS, which will function pretty much like a normal Windows computer once you open it from Parallels. Also, understand that the Windows and Mac parts of your computer are entirely separate. Thus, you have to first open the Windows desktop from Parallels to do any Window-related task. When you open the Windows desktop it will be within a standard Mac application window. Only from the Windows desktop can you access the Windows file folders, and download/remove Windows programs. Ah, if all that doesn't make sense please send the step/ideas that you need more explanation. |
