GAIN Capital FAST Data: Socket connection was closed without any logout messages sent or received. | 2022-03-14 08:46:01.546 there is no connection on OEC, but it is working on OEC trader which is Gain capital software. The message log shows the connection was closed without any logout messages. |

We have no control over this. This is one reason we are no longer providing any technical help for OEC. We have other supported services that replace OEC. What is the clearing firm? Hi, it is weird, I used OEC data with sierra chart for a long time, it is working fine, but it is disconnected today. before I switch to other data providers, Can I know why this is happening? I tested OEC Trader and other 3rd party software, they worked well with the same login, but it only does not work on the sierra chart. |

We do not know why this happens. We have absolutely no control or understanding of this at all. We have no control over these connections. We simply just do not know at all! The connection that Sierra Chart uses to OEC is a FIX connection and for market data is a FAST connection. These are different servers and other programs do not use these connections. They are just used by Sierra Chart to our knowledge. We gave up on OEC long ago. But we have not removed support for it in newer versions but this is planned to happen in the next 60 days. We are going to be putting out a notice today about this. This has been long planned. You are making a mistake continuing with OEC support. The particular services that Sierra Chart is using from OEC are not used by other programs, and OEC has been sold multiple times and is now part of StoneX and is a dead end technology wise. Take our advice, and move to our Teton order routing: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing And we may offer EUREX support. This may or may not happen. It depends upon circumstances in the world and where it would be most productive to focus our efforts during the end/changing times in the world.
