Hello, I have been using number bars, depth of market and volume profiles to trade. I want all my data in 1tick increments since I am only trading ES. Does me having 12+ charts in a chartbook all for the same symbol affect the updating speed of the data? I am trading MES while charting ES (in this case ESM22_FUT_CME and MESM22_FUT_CME 'as trade only'). I'm new to this but being mentored by someone (using Denali and CQG) and our DOM's are not always in sync. I have Advanced 11 he has Advanced 12 (he uses Market Buy Orders, I don't yet). Does number of charts in a chartbook affect the speed of the data coming in? Are there any settings to optimize my data feed speed, I am intraday trading. I care more about accurate data than I do performance. I tried searching for this but seems most folks with issues are on different mix and match services. Thank you! |

All of the market data is received and processed. Nothing is missed. There is more information about this here: Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings) And: General Settings Window: Chart Update Interval (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Update Intervals) And to increase the update speed of a Chart or Trading DOM, Refer to: Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Improving Performance Of Chart / Trade DOM Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
