Rolled Over Contract - Order Rejected Today?...was fine yesterday

I have been practicing with live trades using the NQ Micro futures. Teton Order routing and Ironbeam Clearing. Was trading the March contract and everything was working fine. Today I switched to the June contract and when I entered my first live order this morning...the order was rejected. The following was the message within Sierra Chart that I received. "Teton CME Order Routing (Order reject). Info: Trade Order Error - Symbol not allowed by master firm account for trading. Text: Parent order. Internal Order ID: 15909. Service Order ID: 10022. Symbol: MNQM22_FUT_CME.scid. Account: XXXXXXX | 2022-03-11 07:49:32.911 *" I am not sure where the problem lies? As I noted....yesterday I did trade a single NQ Micro March contract without any issue....but when I rolled over to the June Contract today I received the above message. How can I fix this issue? |

Yes…I have also contacted Broker/Ironbeam, but no resolution on any front yet…

I also placed order for March contract and that order went thru….trouble is June contract…

Can you open a new chart for that symbol: MNQM22_FUT_CME And try again. We cannot see why there would be an issue. I think I know the problem. But, I do not know how to fix it. For the March NQ contract I use the e-Mini NQ chart for price setups, but I am trading the MICRO NQ contract from that chart (i.e., I am trading the NQ Micro low cost instrument in a live environment to keep my testing cost low....but, I use the NQ e-Mini chart for my price setups). This had been working fine for the March Contract and the settings I am using is within the Chart Settings -> Main Settings tab. Bottom left corner of that tab I have the Micro NQ Contract symbol entered in the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" field and I have checked the "Use as Trade Only Symbol" checkbox. (I have attached two exhibits for you to view (png files)...one for the NQ March e-Mini chart settings and one for the NQ June e-Mini chart settings showing exact same settings for the respective contract months). As I noted, this has worked great for the March contract...I use the NQ e-Mini chart for price set up and the trades get executed for the NQ MICRO contract. Worked great in real time for real $$. However, this setting might be causing the problem for the June contract?? I did a live environment test trade (away from price to avoid being filled) on a MICRO June contract chart ("Trade and Current Quote Symbol" field left BLANK) and the trade was accepted and showed up on the chart just fine. I did the same live environment test trade on a NQ e-Mini June contract chart ("Trade and Current Quote Symbol" field left BLANK), and the trade was accepted and showed up on the chart just fine. BUT....I did the same live environment trade on the NQ e-Mini June contract chart with the settings noted above (i.e., trade would be executed for the NQ MICRO June contract via the NQ e-Mini June chart) and the trade was REJECTED! As I noted....this approach worked well for the March NQ contract (using March NQ e-Mini chart and trades were executed on the March NQ Micro contract in real time for real $$). But, it does not seem to be working for the June contract. How to resolve? |
