I´m using 4 instances - on my 4th sub instance I only have DOM´s! No Charts! Is it possible to show the orders (order fills) I made on sub instance 4 (DOM´s) on my other sub instances and main instance (main, 2 and 3 only charts)? I´m using SC only for charting and Sim! Thanks |

Thank´s! As for my understanding - I have to disable the Sim Mode in all my sub instances to show the order fills? What about the main instance - also disable Sim? What about "Also make sure that Trade >> Only Orders from Chart is disabled to see orders from other charts and Trading DOMs"?? Would this solve the whole problem? As mentioned before I use SC only for charting and some Sim- testing, I execute through another platform! When disable Sim Mode, is it still posible to trade Sim? (I don´t wanna execute a real trade through SC when testing strategy)! Thanks in advance |

If you want trading activity to be shared among sub- instances the answer is absolutely yes: As for my understanding - I have to disable the Sim Mode in all my sub instances to show the order fills? This depends upon whether you are doing live or simulated trading: What about the main instance - also disable Sim?

It does need to be disabled but it is unrelated.When disable Sim Mode, is it still posible to trade Sim? Yes but you will need to keep Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On enabled in the main instance of Sierra Chart.

I like this person have 4 instances. Because instance 1 communicates directly with the datafeed, I have my DOMs on instance 1/Main. I have "Trade Simulation Mode On" on the main instance, instance 1. On each subintance: "Trade Simulation Mode On" is unchecked/off as this thread suggests. "Trading locked" is checked (tried both checked and unchecked) "Show order fills" is checked "Show Orders and positions" is checked All of the subinstance charts are set to the same symbol as the main. Same with "Trade and current Quote Symbol". None of the subinstances show the orders/fills. What am I doing incorrectly? How can I view orders/fills on my subinstance charts? Thank you |

Everything you have stated says that you should be getting the Positions and Fills showing in the Sub-Instances. Are these Sub-Instances opened by selecting File >> New Instance or are they completely separate installations? Check the setting for Trade >> Only Orders From Chart on the Sub-Instance chart and make sure this is NOT checked.
