Modify order only by clicking price portion of order line

When I have working orders or active positions I will be drawing on the chart or using something like the chart calculator tool and inadvertently click the orderline to move it. Is it possible to only modify orders by clicking/dragging the portion of the order line that has the price and order info?

There is not an option to do what you are wanting. As a workaround, however, you can always place your order lines against the right side of the chart, so they are more "out of the way" when you are working on the rest of the chart. Refer to the information for the following setting and the 2 after it: Chart Settings: Align Order Cancel (X) Button to Right (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks for the reply. I looked into that option, but much prefer seeing the order lines across the whole chart. Would it be very difficult to add this option? Can this be accepted as a feature request? |
