Hello SC support. I want to thank you all for the Volume Positive Negative Indicator release. I come pestering for more. I know we have the price retracement tool, but it requires me to configure it every time I use it. I also like it to display as two-tone box (-50%/+50%). I basically run the fib tool (Price Retracement) and then overlay two rectangles one as the top half and one as the bottom half. I only use 50% retracements as part of my strategy. This is quite cumbersome and tedious and I think there may be another way I don't know of yet on doing this. Maybe I can pre-define my default fib to only show borderless shadow boxes split at the 50% if so, how do I configure that? If not, is it possible to create such a tool add on? I attached two picture to show you what I mean.

I would like to select a high/low and draw to another low/high and have it automatically draw in the split box at the 50%. Thank you!

To start with, there is not a way to automatically fill in the top and bottom of the Price Retracement.

Since you state that you have to configure the tool each time, it sounds like you are not taking advantage of the Tool Configurations. You can set a configuration for the tool you want, in order to have it display just the information you want when you draw it. You can then have multiple configurations for a tool and change between them. Refer to the information here:
Chart Drawing Tools: Drawing Tool Configuration

Another option that is available for what you are trying to do is the Rectangle drawing tool which allows you to display a midline. The only thing this does not do that you would want is have different colors for the top and bottom.
