To whom it may concern, Thanks again for a great product! I have an R&D SC machine and a PRODUCTION machine. Once I verify a chart configuration on my R&D machine I copy the chartbook over to the PRODUCTION machine and run it. Tonight when I did that...the PRODUCTION machine (same exact version of SC and chartbook, symbols) shows different values for multiple indicators!? For example, see attached charts--they show the same exact configuration...but different values for VWAP/VPOC/Standard Deviation Lines/...? Price appears to be the same. The Std Dev lines are an overlay from a P&F chart and a couple of the VWAP lines also are "Study/Price Overlay" but not all the indicators are. How is this possible? Yes, I checked the chart settings on both systems--identical. I even checked a couple of the overlay studies--identical settings on both systems. If I had to choose, I would say the bottom image is correct...but how to tell? And, this shouldn't be possible. Please help. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-03-09 05:25:42

Good article...haven't seen that one. I checked intraday--they are both tick data. Likely it is the "delete and download data"--but, instead, I just wiped the entire install and duplicated my R&D machine install by copying it (90GB+) over...and it is now identical. Next time I'll try the "delete and download data" because I do know that both machines weren't always online at the same time and thus likely had differences in the available data. Thanks for your quick response and help. |
