i am using the old version of sierrachart it doesnt have micro CL , is there a way to for me to get micro cl without updating to the new version, cause i dont want to lose all my data

You will not lose your data. Update first to version 2217 (this is just an approximation, you can use any version around this one).

Open your Chartbooks in that version. Save them.

And then update to the latest version.

We need to see the entire log. If you still have the installer window with the errors in it, then select the button in the upper right for Send Log to Support. Otherwise, try the installation again and when it fails select that button. Then let us know that you have done this by noting it in this thread.

You have the following error in your Update Log File:
Failed to create folder: C:\Users\HP\Desktop\sc - Kopie\DownloadedInstallationFiles\ACS_Source\. Windows error code 5: Zugriff verweigert

This is saying that you do not have permission to write to that folder. Refer to the following:

The error that we see in your logfile is the one that we referenced you to. As our documentation states, you do not have the proper permissions, or maybe Sierra Chart was still running when you tried to update.

You can try to use the Zip Installer and see if that will work for you. Refer to the information here:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

You are actually not running an up-to-date version of Sierra Chart. Try updating again:
Software Download: Fast Update

If you wait about 45 minutes to an hour, we will have a new installer out, which will allow you to choose the download location. We have another server setup, which will provide the files faster.

And also the symbols are not set correctly either. You need to translate them to the current service with this Edit menu command:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service

i just sent another log , because there was another error , i have deinstalled my security software, so it cant be the reason of the error
