Reconnecting to live data feed

Have been away from charts long enough to need to reconnect. i have read the self help area of how to do this but my problem is that the first thing that it tells you to do is to go to "File" - "Disconnect". When i go to "File" it will not allow me to select "Disconnect" Is there something i am missing ?

First thing we want you to do is to update Sierra Chart to the current version:

Who is your broker? Do they use CQG?

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Connect to the data feed:

Select "File >> Disconnect"

Select "File >> Connect to Data Feed"

After about 30 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

Have updated version of sierra chart and cleared the message log but it still does not give me the option to disconnect

This means that there is no connection to the data feed. So just select File >> Connect to Data Feed and about 30 seconds later provide the Message Log:

This is the pertinent message in your log:
CQG WebAPI | Logon unsuccessful. Server message: Your logon is disabled. Contact your FCM.

As it states, your CQG Logon has been disabled, therefore you need to contact your broker and find out why.
