On sim, using Teton & Denali For past few months: every 1 or 2 days data stop loading and need to reload charts. Annoying. Is this normal? Never used to be |

We need to precisely understand this. Does the chart stop updating in real time? Refer to all the possible chart updating issues here: Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart And what exactly are you doing for this?: need to reload charts

If this is really true, this is like a problem we saw back in the days of Windows 95/98. We have not seen anything like this since then. Based upon what we are hearing, the update timer from the operating system is no longer functioning. Try restarting your computer system. Make sure is it is not one of the other issues listed here: Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. "Try restarting your computer system." Done, did not solve the problem "Make sure is it is not one of the other issues listed here: Https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails3.html" Read through this and even updated symbol list and restarted SC but did not solve problem. Problem occurred and still occurring until Edit > Edit/download data intraday chart or Delete and download data intraday chart) again 24 hours later, 3 different instruments affected so far, see pictures One more detail: only affected daily charts, (all in each chartbook) and NOT historical charts(IE daily/weekly, etc - these keep drawing the candle) |

We are going to make one small change in the next version to see if it helps. There may have been a change we made to Intraday data file management which perhaps for an unknown reason in your case is causing an issue.
