Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out how to be able to click on a DOM price once only in order to move an existing working order. For example, I'm long 17's, I want to move that working buy order down to 13's so I just want to click once on the 13 price in order to move the order to it. No holding down buttons etc, just click.

Cheers,

Alun

Refer to the information at the following link for setting up the right/left click options in the DOM, in which exist options for Move Targets and Move Stops to Price:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Chart DOM Settings
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

THanks for getting back to me - I've activated the various options to move to price upon right click, but the functionality isn't working so I'm obviously missing something etc - any idea what I could be doing wrong? I'm not using a chart DOM i.e one attached to the RHS of the intraday chart, its in its own external window.

Cheers,

Alun

The options work in either the Chart DOM or the Trading DOM.

The one thing to be aware of is that those DOM click options only work for Attached orders. Are your working orders attached or not?

Hi John, ah that's it - my orders are just un-attached limit orders with no child / parent targets / stops etc. So I guess that there's no way to do this for single working orders - at least I know , but thanks for your help, appreciated.

Hi Alun. It is quicker to use the keyboard to move a non-attached limit order up or down a tick (or multiple ticks).

See the menu "Global Settings" -> "Customize Keyboard Shortcuts". Then scroll down to the "Trading Keyboard Shortcuts" section; click its button to expand. There's a copious amount of commands to enable any manual trading strategy. For example:

"Non-attached Limit Order Tick Up/Down"
"Buy Bid - 2 Tick"
"Cancel Buy/Sell/All Orders"
etc.

Good luck with your trading!
