I've used sierra charts for years, Haven't used it in months, went to re-connect, All charts seem to be working fine, Click roll over and then I receive 2 notifications, [ The orange ] Symbol Is Unknown, click symbol information Real-time data subscription for instrument F.US.MES (corresponding to ID=2) Is not enabled [ The Red ] Download Failed error downloading historical intraday data from F.US.MES (corresponding to ID 2) is not allowed My broker Is AMP, I'm using the CQG data order routing. Is there something that I missing that has changed since the the last time I used sierra charts? Thanks for the help, michael |

Hi when I open intraday F.US.EPU22 in CQG WEB AP(Trading). (symbols are translated) it gives me the message below. Yellow box message Requested symbol was not found. Click for symbol information. Red Box message Download Failed Error downloading historical Intraday data for ESU22-CME. The symbol is unknown to the server. When I Edit - Translate symbols to current service it gives the message below. Yellow box message Real-time market data only supported with Sierra Chart feed for symbol: F.US.UPU22. ID: 1 Click for information. Red box message Download failed Historical data only supported with Sierra Chart data feed. If I connect to the SC Data ALL SERVICES then I cannot trade as I am not connected to my account with AMP Futures. Could you tell me where I'm going wrong please. |

There have been 2 important changes recently. 1) Package 10 or higher is required in order to make any external connection or get real-time data from Sierra Chart. This means that packages 3 and 5 are just for testing/training using our Delayed Streaming data. You are on Package 11, so this is not a problem for you. 2) With Sierra Chart version 2394 and higher (our servers show that you are on version 2400) you can no longer bring data from CQG for the CME Group and EUREX into Sierra Chart. Therefore, you will need to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed instead. Or you can downgrade to version 2393 and get the CQG data. We recommend using our Denali feed, as it has more historical information and costs the same as the CQG data. You can also stop the CQG data through your broker so you are not paying twice for the data. To get the Denali Data, refer to the Setup Instructions for the CME Group data here: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* If you want to downgrade, then follow these instructions: Software Download: Full Control Rollback Procedure For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello, I have an issue with the download of historical data into my charts. It is the first time it happens since I have started using SC. When the charts are loading, a red box appears saying "download failed / error downloading historical intraday data for GCG23_FUT_COMEX. Historical data file not available for symbol". As mentioned, up until today, that box would always be green with the download succeeding. I have not really changed anything and my account is correctly funded. I am also using Denali as far as I know. Thanks for your support. |
