Swing trading with attached orders and trade management by study

I use attached orders STOP/TARGET with my entries. When holding a position past the close, those attached orders are stripped away. After the market reopens, I'll manually add a buy/sell STOP but then the Trade Management by Study does not recognize these orders. I get the following message...

"The found Stop/Target order is not in an Open/Held state."

Two questions:
1) Why are working orders removed after market close? Can this behavior be modified?
2) Is there a way to re-add my bracket order after market reopen that is respected by the Trade Management by Study?

1. Make sure they are set to Good Till Canceled:
Attached Orders: Time In Force

2. Refer to:
Order Types: Send Attached Orders - Position/Price

Thanks for the quick reply. #1 TIF I changed from Day to Good till Cancelled. #2 I had to add "Send Attached Orders by Price/Position" to the chart trade menu in order to send a bracket order for a live order. However, this did not solve the issue with the Trade Management by Study working with this new bracket order.

I tested this by cancelling the existing working orders for a live order entered with an attached order. I then manually used Send Attached Orders by Price, which worked, but now I'm getting a slightly different message in the message log (see below). And it is not trailing my stop like it does if it was a "natively" initiated attached order.

Chart: ESH22_FUT_CME/MESH22_FUT_CME[M] Flex Renko 5-4-0 #8 | Study: TRAILING STOP | There is no Stop/Target Attached Order found. | 2022-02-22 13:38:20.919

Attached is the Trade Management by Study config screenshot.

Update: I figured it out. I set the Trade Management by Study "Attached Order to Manage" from OCO Group 1 to Nearest and then it started to work.
