I am using a laptop with multiple monitors and have created a sub instance so I can put a separate chartbook on another screen other than the chartbooks I am looking at on my main instance.
If I make changes to the chartbook that I have open in the sub instance, I know they are saved now in their own sub instance folder. What would be the easiest and most efficient way to update changes to the main instance chartbook.

Don't know if just copying the chartbook from the SierraChartInstance_2/Data folder and pasting it in the SierrraChart/Data folder would be the way to do it, or if there is a better way.

If you are wanting to take the Chartbook from Instance 2 and put it into the main instance, then the easiest way to do this is to copy the Chartbook file, as you suggested. Just make sure that you are not running the software in either instance when you make the copy.

Also make sure that the name of the Chartbook is not the same as one that you are already using in the Main Instance. For example, if you are using a file named "Chartbook1.cht" in both the Main and Sub-Instance, and you want to copy that file from the sub-instance to the main, then when you do so, yo would overwrite that file in the Main instance.
