I chart the larger contracts in this case CL....but I trade the Micros (MCL).. On the Chart Settings > Main Settings Tab...I have the main symbol set to: CLJ22_FUT_CME and I have the "Trade and current Quote symbol set to: MCLJ22_FUT_CME I do have the "Use as Trade Only Symbol" checked. But when I enter a trade from the trade window for that chart it trades the full size (CL) contract rather than the micro. I use this same settings (charting full size and trading micros) for NQ/MNQ and ES/MES and it works fine. *I am running the CL/MCL chart in a new instance of SC, could that possible be the problem? -Thanks |

What makes you say that it is trading the wrong symbol? If it is related to the Profit/Loss, then make sure that you have the correct Currency Value per Tick. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Updating Currency Value per Tick for Trade Symbol For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Apologies...it was the currency value per tick. When I checked the trade log I could see that the trades were in fact MCL...I wrongly assumed that the P/L number meant I was trading the larger contract. User error :) - Thanks |
