I wanted to label days of the week on x axis, which I found can be done on an intraday chart. But was wanting to do it on a daily chart (historical) can this be done on a daily chart?

If you are wanting this displayed all the time like it is at the beginning of a new day on an Intraday chart, then this is not supported. Keep in mind that you can view the day when using the Cursor/Crosshairs for the entry being pointed to for Historical charts.
