Hi, I am connected to Rithmic but I keep getting download failed for my data. I went through the self help more than once. My top bar is green but it just will not give me data. I already paid sierra for data. Do I need to use what I paid for or data from rithmic?

Checked all passwords. I did use the same passwords from Rithmic and tried my log in password for Sierra under the data sections.

It is not that simple:
I already paid sierra for data.
You still have not activated the exchange that you need and you also need to be aware of CME market data policy. More information is here:

For now:
To access historical and streaming market data independent from your Trading service. Follow these instructions.


Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services".

Press "OK"

And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks and Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service)

You can then use the data provided by Sierra Chart independent of your trading service.

Since I am trading with data for Rithmic I do not get the full DOM on Sierra, even though I am paying for it....Do I need to pay for the $33 Data with DOM or can I just buy the $3.50 one?

We are not showing that you have connected to your Rithmic trading account. You will need to do this in order to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees for the CME Group. For more information on this, refer to the following:

In order to connect to Rithmic, follow these Setup Instructions:

Once you have made the connection to your Rithmic account, then you will get the real-time data for the Full CME Group with Market Depth.

No you do not have to pay that full amount. You can just use the lower-priced exchange. Even the one for 1.25 USD per month for top of book, for whatever particular exchange need data for.
