Drawings and Chart Lag

I do lots of drawing on certain charts in my chartbook. I noticed that as time goes by on say a chart with 30 days of data and "old" drawings" that the chart response time to input for tools, scrolling etc gets very laggy. Other charts with less drawing in the chartbook are less laggy. If I erase all drawing from the primary chart things pick up quite well. Is this consistent with how the engineering/programing of SC would be affected by charts with a heavy amount of drawings? My CPU and RAM monitors seem to be normal when this lag occurs ( i3 530/2.97 and 8GB Ram ). Would a faster processor correct this drawing related lag issue or should I just maintain the chart so that I have to erase all old drawings/text? Or is a faster or more robust graphics card the culprit? Thank you |

This would be expected. However, update Sierra Chart to the latest release to see if that makes a difference. There was a small change made which will make the handling of Line drawings more efficient. Removing unused drawings and also using a faster CPU will also help with this.
