In current versions it is not possible to use Excel in Spreadsheet Study. Formerly there was such an option Study Settings Use Excel. I want to use Excel how to solve it . |

It is no longer supported. But there is an option in the study settings to 'Periodically Save Sheet As Text In Seconds', where it is saved as a .CSV file. https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SpreadsheetStudyInputs.html#PeriodicallySaveSheetAsTextInMinutes |

Thank you for your interest. I need an Excel connection in real time. As it was in the earlier versions of the Sierrachart. Is it possible to move the Studies Spreadsheet Study from the old version to the newest? |

No, this is not possible.I need an Excel connection in real time.
This no longer exists. The only option is to use the intermittent CSV export.

It's confusing that the Study's param name indicates 'Seconds', yet the documentation states its save frequency in terms of minutes instead. @SCE, would it be possible in the near-term for the study to be modified so that the save frequency could indeed be specified in seconds? I.e. I assume we can't use a floating-point int like '0.01667' to make equivalent of a 1-second save freq. Also, could the save operation be modified so that instead of overwriting the previous/existing one, a new file is created, ideally with the HH.MM.SS timestamp in its filename?
