When I looked at my SPX500 daily charts today, I could not figure out why there was a big gap in the pricing bar pattern. When I put my cursor on the bar before the price gap, it is the bar for Feb 2/22. The next bar after the gap is today Feb 7/22, so for what ever reason Feb 3 and 4 data is not loading on the chart. I have 11 daily charts in that chartbook, along with a number of monthly, weekly, hourly, and 5minute charts. This glitch seems to only apply to the daily charts ... and strangely enough 10 of them are affected by this, yet one of the daily charts is not affected, as Feb 3 and 4 dates are showing up. Thanks in advance for the help.

Tried the instructions to update current symbols, and no difference. Have noticed this update issue since Feb 2/22 not only applies to the SPX daily charts mentioned previously, it also affected other charts that had the symbol $IUXX/ included at the beginning of the symbol ... as in $IUXX/SPX500 . The one SPX daily chart that is updating the bars since Feb 2/22 does not have that $IUXX/ in the chart ID in the upper left corner of the chart. Is there any way to delete the $IUXX/ from the existing chart ID symbols, and not lose the overlays already installed on those charts? Either I am doing something wrong in trying to get the symbols to update, or there is some other issue. Ihave never been able to get previous cash charts to update to continuous futures either. It would be great to get John or someone to provide remote help in my computer and check out what is wrong. Any time that is convienient for you, after 2:00 pm MST today would be great, as I have other appointments prior. Regards. |

At this point, please just use the symbol SPX500. You will get data for this symbol. Do not use these types of symbols: $IUXX The market data, is restricted for these and we do not know why. We do not directly control that data. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. Thank you ... I'm not sure why, but as of this evening, the daily charts that were not printing separate bars for Feb 3, 4, 7, and 8th suddenly appeared. Not sure if you did something on your end to fix, but things seem normal now, and I did nothing. Anyway, the $IUXX designated symbols worked fine on the previous Sierra Chart version I was running, and only had problems when I switched to version 2351 last week. Baffles me, but thought you would want to know the missing data showed up. Regards.
