Hello,
I want to use TICK-SP as my symbol but ES as trade and quote symboL. ES will be used as trade symbol only. Based on the differences in price, how would this type of trade execute? It works very well in sim mode. The price shown in trade activity log is for TICK-SP and not ES. Thanks for any clarifications

You would have to use Market orders. Otherwise, any order you send that has a specific price will be sent at the price as it is specified (either from the Trade Window or the DOM). This could very well be the price of the TICK-SP.

I am using market orders. In sim mode, the prices used for entry/exit is TICK-SP....I removed Use As Trade Only Symbol, and now the prices are showing for ES for entry and exits. Just wanted to know if both cases will work. Thanks

Yes, both cases will work, as long as they are Market orders.

I asked to speak directly with SC because the results I am getting are unreal, 100% trading day for day. I need to see if what I am seeing is believable, and achievable in the LIVE market. To avoid revealing my strategy, is why I wish to speak directly to SC Engineering. Although my question is specific regarding the TICK-SP, I believe a few moments we can clear this up. Thanks

Does your strat work with the micro MES contract? You may want to test it LIVE on the micro first.

It does. I plan to do so since I'd risk little. It seems I have to since there is literally no information regarding this situation.

I had already inquired of this years past and SC support only said to me was to avoid the issue because the pricing was complicated. But I also had similar results and wanted to know if it will work. Did it work in the LIVE environment?
