We cannot say, you have to come to your own decisions on this. Both of these brokers can comment here as far as what they can offer you. Although we do have good feedback, regarding Teton and account transfers, from Stage 5 that will be posting. And we are sure there is also good feedback from Edge Clear as well. Both are great, but Stage5 has significantly lower margins and slightly better commissions.

Also consider Optimus Futures through Ironbeam FCM for low $500 account requirement, decent margins — $500 on ES — and $3.50 rt commissions on ES.

To our knowledge Optimus Futures is not supporting the Teton order routing but you can ask. And it is still in the process of being supported by Ironbeam. Not yet quite available.

Oh, on the Teton docs Setup Instructions, Ironbeam is listed and it does not say “Expected upcoming support” beside it so I thought you all had recently added them. Optimus supports Phillip Capital, who allows Teton, but not with the small account size, margin, and commissions I had mentioned. |

Thanks for the update regarding Ironbeam. On the Teton "Setup Instructions" there is this line: To be able to use this service, you need to have a live trading account with one of the following clearing firms or one of their Introducing Brokers: I think that's why I thought Optimus, an IB of Phillip / Ironbeam would qualify. Of course, I would have called to make sure but I just wanted to explain where I got that idea from. |
