Dear Sirs:

I was wondering if someone might be able to advise me
on how to limit studies to a maximum timeframe.

For example -

Let say have two charts open in my chartbook: 1 x Candlestick, and 1 x MarketProfile.
I use the candlestick chart to jump between timeframes - M1, W1, D1,
rather than having four charts open.

Say I draw a Retracement, or Horizontal ray on the D1 candlestick chart.
However, I do not wish for these studies to show up on the W1, M1 timeframes.
(But seeing studies of W1, M1 on the D1 chart is acceptable.)

Rather than constantly having to hide studies when changing timeframes,
would someone perhaps guide my how to set it up, please?

With thanks,

Ben

We are not sure if you are referring to Drawings or to Studies.

In either case, there is not a way built into Sierra Chart to control which of these is displayed based on the timeframe of the chart.

But, in the case of Studies, you can use the Study Collection to quickly change which studies are on the chart. Refer to the following:
Study Collections

You can, however, create a custom study to accomplish what you want. Refer to the following:
Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL)
