I wondered if you could help with a task. I need to export price and average true range data (so that I can see individual ATR readings per price bar). Are you able to point me in the right direction please? Thanks in advance

You can use the menu command. Edit >> Export Bar and Study Data to Text File When SC wants to save the file to your computer it will automatically fill in a file name. You have to change the end from .txt to .csv as Excel understands the latter file format but not the former. Alternatively, you can keep it as a .txt, open the file in Notepad, select the whole page, copy the selection, paste into an Excel cell and use split data to column, which will ask for a delimiter. Deselect “spaces” and select “commas”. |

Alternative route is to use Spreadsheet Study from which you can copy data and paste into Excel.

Thanks for the help, that works great. Just one other question, is it possible to get day of the week (as well as date) when using "export bar and study data to text file". The current export only gives dates.

In Excel you can change the format of the SC datetime column to “Long Date” and Excel will include the day of week.
