Hello, In the Numbers Bars Documentation under "Background Coloring Based on Diagonal Dominant Side AskVol BidVol Percentage," it is stated that "In the case where only the Bid or Ask Volume which is the denominator in the calculation is 0, the Column # Up/Down Range 3 Color will be used." I currently have my "Column 1 Range 3 Up Color" input set to R:0, G:255, B:0 to shade strong asks in bright green. I currently have my "Column 1 Range 3 Down Color" input set to R:255, G:0, B:0 to shade strong bids in bright red. However, when an ask is non-zero while its diagonally-correspondent bid is 0, the ask background is not shaded bright green as the documentation seems to claim. And likewise, the bid background is not shaded bright red when a non-zero bid has a 0 diagonally-correspondent ask. Instead, it seems the background color matches the encompassing chart background color. I have a gray Time-Range Highlight between 17:00:00 and 08:29:59 and the backgrounds on these dominant sides is shaded gray between these times. (See below link. I have highlighted some dominant bids with a yellow arrow and some dominant asks with a blue arrow). https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1642591474415.png Between 08:30:00 and 15:59:59, my chart background is black, and the backgrounds on these dominant sides is black as well (as shown in my second picture, highlighting some appropriate dominant bids and asks as before with a yellow and blue arrow). https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1642591717625.png My "Column 1 Background Type" input is set to "Background on Dominant Side". My "Column 1 Background Coloring Method" input is set to "Based on Diagonal Dominant Side AskVol BidVol Percentage". My "Column 1 Percent Compare Thresholds" input is set to "1, 2, 3". I'm aware this results in never displaying the Range 0 colors, I'm ok with that. Interestingly, it appears the text coloring is correct. My Range 3 Up and Down Colors are both set to black for text, and I can see the dominant ask and bid numbers in my gray Time-Range Highlight area. However, of course, I cannot see them in the black background between 08:30:00 and 15:59:59. My "Column 1 Text Coloring Method" input is set to "Based on Diagonal Dominant Side AskVol BidVol Percentage" just like my background coloring method, so I'm not sure why there's a discrepancy. |

We will change that specific information in the documentation, as it is not quite correct. The percentage value for that situation does get set to a value of 1000, but the background coloring is not occurring (as you have seen) since the diagonal Bid value is 0. The only solution for this is to set the option for Enable Diagonal Zero Bid/Ask Compares to Yes. When you do this, the denominator is set to a value of 1, which will nearly always result in the Range 3 background coloring being used.
