NPP path in Global Settings Issue - Migration

Hi, I've copied my Sierra Install to a new drive, new computer. I was checking in Global Settings to verify the paths were correct. The "Text Editor Path and Filename" NPP path was pointing to an old, non-existent folder installation. I selected the correct path and clicked 'apply all', however the settings won't stick. After a search of the support board I found the method of selecting the editor path from "Build Advanced Studies DLL> File> Select Editor" After selecting the correct NPP path there, it remains correct from that menu. However, the path is still incorrect in global settings. On a completely Fresh install, it seems this entry is empty in Global Settings. When I check the path in "Build Advanced Studies DLL> File> Select Editor" it is correct there. (Fresh Install) So I'm wondering if this has to do with a super old config file that is corrupt? Should I rebuild my whole Global Config (config4) manually on a fresh install? Should I ignore it, as everything else seems fine & happy? Or is this a minor bug that will eventually be fixed and again... just ignore it for now? I'd rather not have to re-do my whole global config manually, but I will. Pls advise, Thx |

We are able to reproduce what you are seeing, so we will get it fixed. Although there are a limited number of places where that particular path gets used, so it really is not something you need to worry about. Even when it doesn't work, you can always open the file separately.
