I run dozens of charts and execute orders by clicking on the buy and sell buttons in Chart Trade Mode. Keyboard is quicker and more accurate than mouse. Would you please consider to implement a global hotkey function where users could map a key combination (e.g. Ctrl-[0-9] / Alt-[0-9] / Shift-[0-9]) to the buy/sell/flatten button on a specific chart trade window? This would allow rapid order entry while preserving the benefits of e.g. automatic bracket orders set up on a per chart basis. This is already possible using Interactive Brokers TWS or KeyboardTrader for TT. It would hopefully be a useful and popular addition to Sierra. |

Keyboard shortcuts can be set up globally, but there are no plans to make this chart specific.

That KeyboardTrader looks very useful, I've wondered if Sierrachart could support it. http://www.keyboardtrader.com/keyboard_5.html Or perhaps a non standard custom keyed keyboard, for similar use, without the subscription for KeyboardTrader. |
