hi,

- when trying to run backtests i get error messages as below

Downloaded v2344..... started to backtest ok, then get similar error messages, and the notification (not responding) with an hourglass where my cursor would be
Have tried twice so far... problem not fixed yet....

What exact message are you getting? The issue with opening a file that was probably leading to this condition definitely has been resolved:

If you run into an issue where Sierra Chart is freezing it means you are back testing too fast. And also back testing can cause the user interface to freeze if it is happening at a high speed.

I am having the same issue and getting the same error. it was working fine yesterday, and this am but now the simulation is not filling the orders. i am on Version 2343. Thanks

The only thing we can think of to remove those errors, is to delete the files that are giving that particular error, then redo the back test.

The complete path and file name for them is given. So you can easily delete them. We recommend exiting from Sierra Chart first before deleting them.

Version 2343 is affected by the issue, but you are running 2344. The problem is resolved in that version. However, if the files are still giving that error you need to delete them. The error is harmless though.
