hi, I am running a custom study that trades. I am seeing that the orders are being placed and then they are immediately getting canceled and I am not sure why.

I don't have any commands to cancel the orders in the custom study.

I do have a spreadsheet study applied to the chart. The spreadsheet study is a trading spreadsheet and its buy/sell columns are empty. Could this be the reason for the order cancellations?

Check for formulas in cells J27, J29, and J78.

You need to see why the orders are being canceled. Look at the Trade >> Trade Activity Log. For the cancel action for the order, see what the Order Action Source says. It will indicate the reason for the cancellation.

Here is the documentation:

nice catch! J78 was the one ;)

btw, the trade activity log has a message saying that "Non-Child/Attached Orders" are being canceled - there is no mention of which study its coming from or who is initiating this.

We will make the Trade Activity Log Order Action Source more clear in this case.
