unable to connect in current SC version, but all okay at SC version 2181

Hi,

I installed the current version today and was unable to connect after trying all kinds of different settings, after I revert back to the last session installed all was okay again.
Maybe I am missing something? This is an LeeLoo evaluation account with the following settings: see "old SC2281 logon settings" in the attachment.

After I install the current version I am missing several options as in the the 2281 version: I only get: See Current download SC settings in the attachment.

Whatever combination I try within these two new list of options (and of course with the same username and pw, since this did not change),
I can't get the connection to work.... I guess there is something missing in the current service and/or server list settings??

You need to change your Service Package to 10 as well:
To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.

You will need to login if you are not currently logged in.

In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button.

The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price.

There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted.

When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to.

When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time.

Okay, I tried, but was unable to get the current version working.

Then I found out that I actually have service package 3 and this works with SC version 2281, so that could be the issue since for the current version according to the "setup Instructions" info for "Rithmic Trading Platform service" it needs a minimum of service package 10 or higher. (Although this does not make any sense, since service package 10 and higher are all related to the Denali exchange data feed..)

So for now I guess I can't upgrade.

Service Package 3 should not work with Rithmic. If it does, that is an error on our part, and will change, in a few weeks. The minimum Service Package will be 10.

okay, so it becomes (12 x 36) 432 USD a year to only use the SC platform,

Thanks for the info.

With LeeLoo you can get big discounts, even 50% for lifetime..

Is there ever going to be the option, like with Ninja, Multicharts or BookMap, that you can buy a (one-off) lifetime licence for SC?
